It was another week of “firsts” for me. No-I didn’t learn to crawl yet. This week was my first cold and first fever. My grandma usually watches me, but she went to Hawaii so Mom and Dad had already worked out a plan to watch me this week. But I got them! I got sick and couldn’t go to daycare so they had to scramble to be able to watch me ALL week. Dad stayed home 1/2 of Monday and Thursday, and Mom stayed home the other 1/2 of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. It was great staying home with them all week, but being sick is not fun. My nose ran like a faucet for a few days, then it got so stuffy I couldn’t breathe. I still have a humidifier in my room and 2 of the legs of my crib are on phone books so that my bed is at an angle. My fever would get up to 103.5, and I was cranky and clingy. Everything made me cry and I didn’t feel like eating. Have you ever tried to drink a bottle with a stuffy nose? Let me tell you-it is not easy! Mom took a couple of pictures of me on one of my getting better days. There’s no pictures from my sick days because I wouldn’t let them put me down-ever!

I’m much better now. Last night I went to play with uncle Howard and today Mom and I went out and about all day. By the way-I’m really working on my crawling, but standing up is so much better!
