Christmas In California

After we had our Christmas in Colorado we flew to California for New Years.  While we were there we got to have ANOTHER Christmas.

One of our presents was princess dresses.

Pony bought us all megaphones.  Did you know that you don’t have to talk louder into them to make your voice loud?

I had been practicing my restaurant manners and eating my food like a big girl so that I could go to special dinner with Pony and Allie.  This was my special dress to wear at our New Years Eve dinner.  It was Allie’s dress from when she was a little girl.  I even got to wear some of Allie’s special make-up!

We woke up on Christmas and went out to see what Santa had brought.  Our stockings were full of fun stuff and he even left us stick ponies!

Kalina got a horse stable that Daddy had to work on putting together.

Dad told mom he wanted socks for Christmas because he didn’t have pairs in his drawer so Mom wrapped up all his paired socks.

Auntie Devon made us quilts.  They are soooo soft and cuddly!

Christmas Eve

For Christmas eve we went to Ry Guy’s house.  Auntie Cait made her yummy chicken curry.  This year we were big enough to do special projects.  We made reindeers and beaded snowflakes.  Auntie Cait had to drink all the rootbeer because Jeffrey said it made him burp!

You had to use the special hot glue to make these!

     

Then we made the snowflakes.  You had to put the small beads on the pipe cleaners.

     

Mom says busy hands means quite mouths.  Wonder why she’d want that?

   

       

Kalina wanted hers to be a rainbow.

 

Ry and Autumn played with his advent calendar while I finished my snowflake.

Then we read a book together.

We got to open a couple little gifts.

     

We got search and find books!

         

We got bubber too.  It’s a weird thing kinda like play-doh, but it never dries out.

 

We went home and got our treats ready for Santa.

Milk and cookies for Santa, carrots for the reindeer.
