Hawaii-Saturday

Today was “hangout at the house day”.  First I read a book with Grandma, but then she left with Dad to go and play a top 100 golf course.

A little bit after they left Mom realized that they had my carseat and my stroller and they went all the way to the other side of the island.  SO…I had to stay at the house today.  I played with Grandma and Grandpa a lot today.

Hey-Where did Dad go?  i wanted to go too.

Guess I’ll go play.  Here’s my iPhone that Mom put my music on.  Chillin’-

Grandpa took me for a walk to distract me while Mom, Jeff, and Caitlin went shopping.

After I played for awhile Grandpa put me down for a nap.  When I woke up I had lunch and then Mom and them came home.  Then Grandpa took me swimming.

See the bracelet Mom bought for me.  It’s a Hawaiian bangle bracelet.

Here I’m patiently waiting for the rain to stop so we can go in the pool.

Yeah-finally stopped raining and I can go swimming!  I had to wait a whole 4 minutes.

After I helped Grandpa put on his shoes.

Mom took this picture of the flower after it was in the pool for a long time.  There’s also one when it’s still on the tree.

Tonight Grandma and I stayed home while everyone else went to dinner at Roy’s.  I thought I was going to get to go on this island, but I guess not.  Maybe when I’m bigger.

Hawaii-Friday

This morning we went to Salt Pond Beach Park in Hanapepe.  We tried to go early so that we could look in the tide pools but we didn’t get to.  This beach is a 10 on my scale.  It has a protected beach for me to play in, showers, and fun sand.

Dad and I walked to play in the showers for a bit.

Then, back to the ocean and sand!

We had to stop at the Kauai Kookie store AGAIN because Mom said we ate the bag of cinnamon toast we bought yesterday.  This afternoon Mom, Dad, Caitlin, Jeffrey, and I went shopping in Koloa.  They bought shirts and had ice cream.  I fell asleep and missed out on the ice cream!  Tonight we went down to the Hyatt and watched a torch lighting ceremony.  I got to have a strawberry daiquari while we were there.

Mom learned how to put a video using Vimeo.  This was on Maui.

Here’s my flower for today.  Auntie Caitlin and I went out to find a new flower for my hair.

We went for a drive to check out Baby Beach in Poipu.  It was very small, but nice.  There wasn’t any shade though, so I only give it a 5 on the beach scale. I played with Caitlin in the water.  I shared the sand I picked up with her too!

Grandpa and I went for a walk too.  I found a lava rock with him.

Later I rested in the chair and tried to wipe the sand off my hands.

We went shopping after the beach, but we didn’t find anything.  Then we went to the Shrimp Station in Waimea, and Kauai Kookie factory.  Auntie Caitlin bought a trillion cookies.  Mom never buys that many at home!  Here’s some more of me swimming later in the afternoon.
