This morning we went to explore Ulua beach.  I am definitely enjoying the sand more and more.  Mom, Grandma, and I went into the ocean this time.  That was fun until the wave splashed me in the face.  Dad has to limit his time in the sun so that he doesn’t get burned.  He played with me, and then would watch from the shade for awhile.

More pictures at the beach!

After I was kinda hungry.  Grandma shared her granola bar with me.  YUM-SAND!

Later Mom and Dad went to play golf at Makena Golf course.  I stayed with Grandma and we went swimming in the pool.  Mom took these pictures of Dad.  He played 2 balls out of the lava rocks and a couple out of the sand.  Lava and sand, must be playing in Hawaii!

This is one of the signature holes for the course.

I can’t believe how long I take naps here on Hawaii.  For 2 days I napped for at least 3 hours!  This was Dad and I napping on Friday.  We were both pretty tired.

After nap we took Dad to the Old Blue Course at the Grand Champions and he played while Grandma, Mom, and I explored a new beach.  This one had a shower that I rinsed off in when I was done.  The waves were really big at this beach.  Mom says that the waves get bigger when the trade winds come in during the afternoon.

The anticipation of the water is part of the fun!

We were jumping over the big waves.

Kicking and splashing!

Playing in the sand.

Washing off in the shower was just as fun as playing at the beach.  Who’da thought they’d make a shower just my size?

Saturday Mom and Grandma got up to meet a scuba boat at 5:45am.  They went snorkeling at Molokini and another place, while Dad and I stayed home and played.  Then Grandma and Dad went to play golf at the Gold Course at Grand Champions.  Grandma  broke 100 for the first time!

That night Mom and Dad went to dinner at Roy’s.  They said the food was sooo yummy.  Maybe on Kauai I will get to go to that restaurant.  Grandma and I had pizza.

Just in case you haven’t heard yet-I’m going to be a big sister to a SISTER.  Now Daddy will have 3 girls to love!

Yesterday I flew to Hawaii with Mom and Dad.  First we went to Honolulu, then we got on another plane to Maui.  I did very good on the planes if I do say so myself.  Mom and Dad decided to get us seats in the front of the plane so when I kicked my feet I didn’t hit the chair in front of me, I had lots of space, and the steward was really really nice to me.  I got food and drinks and everything.dscn0875 dscn0879

Since the front was empty I got to move and sit with Dad for awhile.  Here we are coloring in my new coloring book.

After we got our car we went to our condo in Wailea and played.  Dad found this blow up toy-I lost my apple juice, are they here?

Later we went and picked up Grandma Doyle at the airport.

Friday we decided to take a drive an see Kihei, then we drove down to Makena.  Dad decided we should stop at a beach and walk around.  Let me tell you, that beach place is FUN!  Did you know that at the beach there is this thing called an ocean?  It moves all by itself and the water splashes you and makes your feet get buried in the sand.  I had to hang on because everyone said I would fall down if I didn’t.

I was starting to get braver so I splashed more.  Here I’m a little bit wet.

Now I’m soaked!

Mom and Dad decided that I should go and take a nap.  They said we could go back to the ocean later.  Do I look tired to you?!  Here’s where the next adventure began.  We got back home and the key got stuck in the lock.  None of the keys anyone had would work in the second door, and no one could get the key out of the first door.  And boy did alot of people try-at least8 people.   I ate my crackers while we waited.

Later, one of the workers tried climbing a ladder to the lanai, but those doors were locked too.  We had to wait for the owner to bring a key to try and a locksmith to get the key out.  While we were waiting a worker took apart the window over the door, climbed through it, and let us in.  You should have seen him-he climbed in head first, turned and got one leg through, then kept squeezing his way in and got his other leg through the SMALL window.  He was pretty amazing!  See the little window over the door?

That’s all for now.  I’m going to take a nap and see what we do the rest of the day.
