For this trip Mom and Autumn left a little early so they could go to Graceland. I came later with Dad. When Autumn got to the Denver airport Grandma, Grandpa, and Diane were sitting at the gate. That was a surprise for her! After they got to Nashville, they got in the car and drove to Memphis. The next day, they went to see Graceland. That’s the house that Elvis lived in. Autumn said that one of his rooms had carpet on the ceiling!
After they did all that walking, they tried to find a place for lunch. A lot of the places they wanted to try were closed since it was a Sunday. They ended up at the Blues City Cafe.
They didn’t walk around much because it was raining, and they had to drive back to Nashville. Autumn got a few silly faces in though!
When they got back to Nashville they stayed at the Opryland Hotel. These were the stairs when they walked in.
They did some exploring because the hotel was really big. It was connected to a convention center!
Grandpa and Autumn were conducting the water show.
Really close to the hotel was the Grand Ole Opry. This is where they show happens during the busier time of year.
Can you believe they ate dinner at a place that used to make dog food?!
Autumn thought the live music was a little to loud!
A yummy place for breakfast!
Playing with pizza dough for at another dinner.
This was the menu at the ice cream place we went to after dinner!
They walked around the Country Music Hall of Fame and took a picture with a huge guitar.
Later they went to the Bicentennial Capitol Mall Park to get our some energy.
That’s the capitol in the background. (with a hotel built right next to it)
A little dance party.
Before they headed home for the day they made a quick stop at the Parthenon.
Loveless Cafe-some really good yumminess!
Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, and Diane went to a Grand Ole Opry show. It was at the Ryman Auditorium which is downtown. In the winter months that’s where the show is held.
Modeling out new boots!
