We had a quick trip to Cancun for Labor Day weekend. We stayed at the Moon Palace Resort. It was a really cool hotel and we only got to see a small part of it! On this trip, Mommy didn’t bring her camera. She said that there would be lots of people taking pictures and that was one less thing she needed to carry.
We got there after 5ish on Th. and once we were checked in we went to check out the beach and pool. This was the kiddie pool near our room.
This was the part of the pool what we stayed in most of the trip. It got deeper close to the hut so we couldn’t get all the way over there by ourselves.
Friday morning Autumn was so cold in our room that she wore her jacket out to breakfast. It was 8o something degrees with ALOT of humidity-silly girl!
After we ate we went to check out the Teen area. There was an air hockey table, so we learned how to play. That game is a lot of fun too!
Then it was off to the beach. There is a lot of seaweed at this hotel’s beach. We didn’t like touching it, so we didn’t go in the ocean.
Our first of many strawberry daquiri’s for this trip.
Later on Friday some workers got there too. We could go to the swim up bar if an adult would carry us. This trip to the bar was with Kameron.
I saw lots of girls with braids in their hair. Mommy said I could get some so she made an appointment for me to go.
When I finished we went to meet up with Autumn and everyone else at the pool.
This was at the cafe where you could get panini’s, coffee, ice cream, popsicles, chocolates and other treats!
Mommy and Autumn were relaxing on the hammock on our balcony. Then we had time to play on it.
Is that a naked Autumn on the hammock?!
The other special thing we got to do was go to the dolphin experience. We were there early so I was reading the signs.
Our dolphin was Miranda.
Hanging out waiting for it to start.
See this pier? The dolphin place was at the end of the pier.
What you can’t see in this pictures above is how stormy the sky was just outside of the picture. By the time we started it was rainy and super windy. We didn’t like being in the rain and it was kinda scary. Since the dolphin part was in the ocean, the waves were REALLY big. Mommy held my life jacket and Alicia held Autumns. They were hanging on with their fingers and toes to keep us from floating off in the big waves! We were both very nervous and scared. After awhile I got used to touching Miranda, but still very nervous. It took Autumn a long time to even touch her. They finally got a couple of pictures of us with Miranda.
Since it was storming out we went to the room and relaxed there. Later in the day the weather got better and we headed back to the pool! Our last night there we had a special event to go to, then we went to dinner. While were were waiting for everyone we took a couple pictures.
At dinner, Mom went to the other table to talk and left her phone. We took a couple selfies!
Autnie Cait had glow sticks to keep us busy.
And the waiter had this to keep the adults busy!
That night there was a trash the dress shoot happening. We went down to watch, but Autumn was so scared about breaking the rules that she whined so much, Mom took us back to the room. (The pool was closed so it was against the rules to be in the pool. My silly sister wasn’t even getting near the water so she wasn’t breaking the rules!)
At the airport there was a giant cow in the store, so Autumn took a picture with it.
Mom stole these images from Uncle Jeffrey.
