For our third, and final, Easter egg hunt we went to Grandma’s house.  When we got there, there were eggs all around her front yard!  Some of them jingled with coins, some thudded with chocolate, and others rattled with jelly beans!  We went all around getting eggs for our baskets.

We brought Grandma and Doug some eggs that we decorated.

There were even eggs inside the house!

Time to open them up.

That’s Autumn saying “No Mommy, no pictures!”

We ate yummy french toast breakfast and then went outside to blow bubbles.

Lucky for us, Grandma had extra bubble solution.  We kept knocking over our bottles and spilling them.

Come over there and sit Autumn.

This morning Autumn woke up and wanted a drink.  She and Mom went out to get one and she came running back to the room saying “somebody left eggs on the floor”.  I was still tired and didn’t get out of bed, but she went running out and started sticking the eggs in her basket!  She was finding them everywhere-the floor, the couch, the snowglobe, even in her old donut plate.

I finally got up and came out to find some.  I found a basket of treats instead.

Then I went searching for a few eggs.

After we found them all we started to open them and see what was inside.

Shake, shake, shake!

Back to the treat baskets!

Jelly beans!

Chocolate eggs!

Chocolate coins!

We even got socks.  Autumn got naked to put on her socks.  They are a little big-see the heel up on her calf?

Chocolate bunny time!

Bubbles!

This afternoon we got to decorate our eggs.  Autumn didn’t remember doing it last year, but I was very excited.  We decorated with Grandma, Pony, and Diane too!  Well, kinda, Mom set up the computer and we video chatted while we did them.  Pony told me to try putting my eggs in 2 different colors-that was fun and it made a new color!

First mom made us put on shirts that were old or wouldn’t show the color if it got on them.  We had all the colors to choose from and 18 eggs.  She tried to get us to smile for the camera, but I was to distracted by the colors in the cups.

Check out these monster faces!

Ok, egg coloring time…be very gentle when you put the egg in the cup

Blurry, but an example of Autumn putting her egg in very gently.  (She only cracked 1 or 2 by dropping them!)

Waiting for them to change colors is sooooo hard!  Autumn was checking hers out.

Autumn “the one handed green” monster!

Only a little bit of my fingers got colored.

Finished coloring.  Just waiting for them to dry so we can put stickers on.
