It’s official-my sister is 1!  We had a small party for her and I helped her open her presents.  She ate cake and made a big mess too.  Uncle Jeffrey put up pictures for Mom, but she had a couple to add.

Look at the birthday balloons!  Unnhh, I can’t reach.

I’m sooooo excited for my birthday-whatever that is.

Yummy-dinner.  Texas toast anyone?

I’ll share.

PSYCH!

This is fun stuff.

This weekend we very busy!  Saturday we went to the pumpkin patch in Broomfield.  It was a patch where you can cut your pumpkins off the vine.  There were fields and fields of pumpkins all over the place, and then there were animals and jumpy houses, and snacks!

Come on guys-I’m ready to go, let’s go, let’s go!

Comekins (as Kalina calls them), comekins-look comekins everywhere!

Let’s get this one!

And this one.

I want this one.

Come on guys, go this way.

Look, this one has funny stuff sticking out of it.

Mine has a green top.

Ouch, it poked me!

Daddy, can we have this one, and this one, and this one, and this one too?

The queen of getting my way!

Dirt-try some of this Ryland, it’s yummy!

We bought 5 big pumpkins and 4 baby pumpkins.  I’m waiting until we can carve them and watch them light up!

Sunday Daddy took Grandma and all of us to the zoo.  We saw most of the animals before I got too tired and I got to ride the train with Mommy.

When we got I home I slept in the car and Autumn was inside playing.  She was putting on Halloween costumes and eating fried rice with Mommy.  She even wore my hat since I wasn’t around.

Last weekend Mommy went to Vancouver with her friends from school.  They went to a youth rally and heard Jesse Jackson, Al Gore, Ethan Zohn, Spencer West, Martin Sheen, Philippe Cousteau, Rick Hansen, Barenaked Ladies, Colbie Caillat, and Craig and Marc Kielburger speak.  There were 18,000 youth there being inspired to work to create a positive change in the world.  It was an amazing day.

After the “work” day, Mom went to Whistler with Mary Beth, Judy, and Stephanie.  They went there to go zip-lining.  That’s where they hook you up to a big wire and let gravity bring you down.  One of them was the length of 2 Eiffel towers laid end to end.

Look at the pretty colors.

This is where the winter Olympics were.

Get ready, set, go!

Mary Beth is so brave-she went upside down the very first time!

Here’s the really  long line they went on.

Here comes Mary Beth,

and now Stephanie,

and Judy!

These pictures were taken by someone who works for the zip-line.  Mom decided that if someone was going to take her picture, she’d go upside down.

By the way, we stayed with Dad all weekend.  Sometimes we had cookies for breakfast, but we had lots of fun.  Dad took us to Santa’s Village in Colorado Springs, and the Denver Zoo.  We drove him a little nuts, but he loves us!
