Today Dad took me for a walk to get donuts. Since it was raining I got to wear my new raincoat and we put the raincover on my stroller. My coat is pink with kittens on it. It’s really soft, not hard and crunchy like some raincoats. (Guess that makes up for mom not paying attention to the price when she was shopping.) I stayed dry, but Daddy got really wet.
Check out this rocking horse! Grandma Doyle gave it to me. I can get on and off all by myself now. I love to go for a ride!

I turned 2 today! We had my family over for dinner and cake. Grandma Doyle came from Colorado for my birthday too. My Papa bought me balloons and hung a Happy Birthday banner in the kitchen. I got to open presents and play with lots of new toys. You should see all the things I got. I got clothes, Bristle blocks, a rocking horse that makes horse noises, Crayola Colorwonder pens, a camera, Thomas the Train tracks, Legos, keyboard, drums, art easel, golfing toy, and a speaker to play songs on my mom’s old iPhone. Uncle Jeffrey and Auntie Caitlin took lots of pictures for Mom.
