Mom says that since I’m bigger I get to write on the website until Autumn gets a little older.  Autumn had to use a biliblanket for a week since she was jaundice.  I was jaundice too when I was first born, but I had to go into the NICU.  Autumn got to do her treatment at home.  She had to be naked except her diaper and had this blue light pad strapped to her back.  Mom and Dad say it was a pain because the cord from the box to the pad was short so you couldn’t move around if you were holding Autumn, the paper cover for the pad kept tearing and moving into the wrong place, and at night the blue light was really bright and made it hard for Mom to feed Autumn.  Mom kept telling herself-at least she’s at home and not in the hospital.  I made sure that whenever we moved the box upstairs that everything was plugged in. Here is Autumn sitting in her chair with her biliblanket and you can see the blue light on her foot.

While Dad took me to the park, Mom gave Autumn a sponge bath.  She didn’t really like it very much.  I’ll have to show her how much fun it is playing in the water.  Mom says I didn’t like the bath at first either.

Last weekend Grandma Doyle came out to meet Autumn.  We had lots of fun.  She played with both of us, but mostly me since Autumn isn’t big enough to play yet.

Here are some other pictures Mom took.

This year for Halloween I was a red M&M.  Auntie Pony made my costume and it took me awhile to learn how to wear it.  First we kept it at the house so I could hold it and kiss it.  Then Mom figured out that I would put it on if I could watch in the mirror when she put it on.  I practiced putting it on lots, and by Halloween I would wear it when I wanted to.

The first 2 pictures are at my daycare party.  I practiced trick or treating and got some fun treats.  I went Mom’s school and did a parade and party in her class too.

These were on Halloween day. See my ghost socks from Grandma Doyle.  And the plastic spider that bounces around.

I went for a walk to practice my pumpkin carrying in the daylight.

I was better at putting on my  costume at Grandma’s house.  Mom tried to get some pictures there, but I didn’t want to.

Then we went home and Dad carved a pumpkin and I decorated my little one.

Dad took me out trick or treating near our house.  Mom stayed home to give out candy and rest.  My little sister is making her tummy stick WAY out and her back is really sore right now.

Here’s my bucket of treats.  Mom put them in a bowl so that I could look at them.

Saturday Mom and Dad took me to a pumpkin patch!  Boy was that a fun place to go.  They had hay rides, train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, sooooo many pumpkins, mazes, food, and music.  I didn’t do all those things, but it was still fun.

Do you see me?

Later, we went to a pumpkin carving party.  Dad did the cutting, mom scooped out the seeds, and I supervised.  I didn’t really want to stick my hands inside the pumpkin and touch all that slimy stuff.
