It was Fall Break this week and Mom and Dad surprised us with a trip. We flew to Ca and went to Disneyland! I had been there once before when I was only 1 so I didn’t remember it. We had lots of fun this trip. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel so we could walk right across the street into Downtown Disney and take the monorail into the park. After we checked in we headed out the door. Come on guys!
We got a little distracted at the Lego store before we headed in.
First stop off the monorail was food. Autumn was super grouchy, but after we fed her she was much better. She got to pick the first ride for the day. She chose driving the cars!
I drove Grandma around. We didn’t even crash into Mommy and Autumn.
Grandpa got his own car.
Next we headed towards the castle, but Mom had us take a detour and stop where the fairies live. We had to wait a long time, but it was ok. I wanted a picture with the winter fairy , but you can’t see her very well so I had Mom take a picture of her by herself.
Almost there!
First we met this blue fairy. Does anyone know her name?
Then we got to see Tinkerbell! You can’t tell from ANY of the pictures on our trip, but I was super excited to see the different people. At Tinkerbell, Autumn did all the talking.
Here’s the castle. Grandma kinda photo bombed the 2nd picture!
When we walked through the castle guess who was on the other side! Peter Pan and Captain Hook! We waited to see them too!
Autumn chose the next ride. Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride. It wasn’t a very good ride. We got really scared and DID NOT like it. If you look closely, Autumn is still crying in these pictures.
We went safe and mellow next. Casey Jr. Circus Train was a good ride. We were trapped in the monkey cage!
TEA CUPS!!!!! This had to be one of our most favorite rides. We went a bunch of times.
Daddy decided, that spining rides are not for him though. Off to Toon Town next.
What happens if we turn these?
Help! Get us out!
Umpf-too heavy!
Taking a little rest in Minnie Mouse’s house.
We only waited a little while to see her.
This was Gadget’s Roller Coaster. Mom and I went on this. Later, I got Allie to take me again.
We rode the train to the front and had a strawberry popsicle on the ride.
At the Main gate we waited for the Soundsational Parade to start.
That parade was awesome! Here’s comes Mickey and Minnie.
Then came Pluto and Goofy
Aladin
Autumn couldn’t even blink!
One of our favorites was Ariel!
Here come the princesses. We saw Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, and Cinderella.
Next was the Lion King.
Princess Tiana
Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Smeade, and Tinkerbell!
The parade ended with Mary Poppins. Mom says we’ll have to watch that one soon.
After the parade we went over to California Adventure Park. We saw that parade over there and had dinner at Ariel’s Grotto. After dinner Autumn and Dad went back to the hotel and I stayed with Mom, Grandma, and Grandpa. We had special tickets to see the World of Color show later on.
We all rode King Triton’s Merry go round together.
See the big ferris wheel? Mom took these while we were waiting for the show to start. On this ferris wheel you can choose to ride in a booth that swings or not. The next day I chose a swinging one. That made my tummy feel funny, but it was still fun.
This gigantic hat was attached to our hotel. We took a picture on the way home that night.
This is what an early morning flight and lots of walking at Disneyland does to Autumn. She was tired!
