These last few days haven’t been filled with to much excitement so Mom kinda lagged on getting anything posted. Day 7 was Thursday. We started off the day with a 2 hour kayak and snorkel trip. Each kid rode in a double kayak and off we went.
Grandma took pictures of us getting ready to go and once we were on our way!
The guide took us to a place where we got out of the kayaks and snorkeled. This was our first time snorkeling in deep water. Autumn wasn’t going to get in but since everyone else did, she decided to give it a try. While we were out there we saw different fish and even turtles. This one is one that Mom and I watched swim around. Uncle Jeffrey took the picture.
After all that paddling work (just kidding, we kids just sat there while the adults did all the work!) we headed to Kihei Cafe. Kevin hadn’t eaten there so he needed to go and have the loco moco. Autumn got the teddy bear pancake this time. I had french toast and some of Allie’s loco moco. I’ve been trying new things this trip and loco moco is a winner!
Before we went back to the hotel we went to the shopping center so Allie could pick up a few more things. I waited at the fountain while Mom was buying a new loa wood bracelet.
We ended up at Eskimo Candy for dinner that night! That was a yummy place for dinner! We decided to stop at Lappert’s for ice cream on the way home. The only problem was there was a HUGE downpour and we were soaked going from the car to the mall. We still had ice cream. Bryce used his to stamp Mom’s butt. he thought it was hilarious!
Day 8 was our last day on maui. This was a pano from the balcony of our villa.
On our way back from breakfast we stopped at our gate to take a picture.
Autumn went out to play in the grass while we were getting ready to leave. When she tried to go back to our house, she went to the wrong one. Mom found her 2 doors over knocking on the door to someone else’s place. I think she thought we left without her since the door was closed and the drapes were closed too.
Off to Kauai we went! First stop was Hamura’s saimin, then the snow cone place. We were much happier to be having snow cones than we look!
We still couldn’t get into our room but we could use the pool!
Mom and Diane took a little rest while we swam.
While we waited for dinner we just “hung” around!
Dinner was at Duke’s Barefoot Bar and Grill. This was dessert!
