Mom and I have decided that this year we’ll make a better effort to post things. It’s to bad that Facebook has made it so easy for Mom to put up pictures otherwise she might do this more often with me.

To start off 2012 we went to California.  Last year we stayed in Colorado and Mom didn’t really like only video chatting while everyone else was together, so this year she made sure we were there.  Here’s our church clothes!

After church we went to Diane’s house for another Christmas.  Since Diane and Pony didn’t come to Denver this year, we had a few presents to open when we came to California.  We are anxiously awaiting the time to open our presents.  They are under the “Christmas TV”!

Reading a book with Grandma and Grandpa.

Checking out her new bag of nail polishes.

One day we went to San Francisco.  We saw the foggy Golden Gate bridge and visited the California Academy of Sciences.

I was looking for the sea lion in the water.  You should have seen all the bird poop on my sweater-yucky!

From Sea Lions to sting rays!

to fishes

and the white alligator

From above the water to below!

Reindeer in California?  The academy had a couple for use to see!

Break time!

After we came home we went to the Western Stock Show.  We both got our faces painted, I pet the animals in the petting zoo, we rode ponies, played games, and saw lots of horses and cows.  I went first on the ponies.  Autumn decided she wanted to try it after she saw me.

Autumn was very brave.  She went all by herself on her first pony ride.

One night we tried to use our chopsticks for our dinner.

This post is a little bit of a lot of things.

First up-a trip to the dentist.  This was Autumn’s first time.

My turn!

The babies were helping Grandpa play the piano.

These are some pre-Christmas pictures.

A visit with Santa-these were while we were waiting to see the big man.

And this is skillfully positioned because only I was brave enough to sit on his lap.

While Grandpa was out he spent a lot of time shoveling snow.  I went out to help.  Grandma and Autumn stayed inside and had a tea party.

This time we both went out to help. (and play!)

Having a seat in the snow!

Autumn and Grandpa working together.

All work and no play…is no fun!

Here are a few Christmas pictures.  Mom didn’t really have time to get out her camera.  That’s one of the things she’s going to try and do better this year.  Use her camera!

She got a picture of Santa at our house!

He brought me a scooter!

And he brought Autumn a basketball hoop.

And uncle Jeffrey bought Ryland a REAL drum set!  Ryland got presents from Santa at our house and his.  Mis Mommy didn’t know about the drums though!

Grandma bought us a trampoline.

To round out the year we went sledding at the school by our house.  Mom stole these from Rylands website.

Here is Autumn riding on the sled and Mommy giving her a push!  (Somebody caught her on the bottom!)

I was a little afraid to go by myself, so I went with Auntie Cait and Ryland.

This year was about rainbows.  I wanted rainbow cupcakes for school, and a rainbow cake for my birthday.  Jackie came over and helped mom make my cupcakes.  They made the batter, and then colored each bowl of it a different color.  Each cupcake wrapper got a little of each color.  They turned out way cool!

For my birthday Dad made spaghetti and everyone came to Doyle Dirt for dinner.  We had rainbow cake for dessert.  This time the frosting was a rainbow, not the insides.

Did you see my birthday shirt?  After cake we opened presents!

Here’s my cake before we ATE it!
