We play lots together.  Most of the time we get along and don’t fight, but we ARE sisters!

Here I’m modeling my watermelon tie-dye shirt with pink puffy skirt.  Don’t miss the plastic heels with a silver heel.

Autumn is showing off the pink clown hat with golden magician cape.  She has accessorized with the xylophone stick and band-aid on her leg.

This wasn’t a dress up costume.  Autumn was wearing her princess dress.

This one is my princess dress.  It’s a Cinderella costume that Mom bought to see if I’d actually wear a costume this year.  Its kinda cheap, and I’ve worn it so much I actually tore it already.

Here’s our matching backpacks.

One day the babies played in the sprinklers and got all wet!  Autumn didn’t have any extra clothes so she borrowed some from Ryland.  Do they look like twins?

Here they were playing in the hampers.  Mom said they looked like the Whack-A-Mole game with their heads popping out and Auntie Caitlin says Autumn is practicing her stripper moves.  One time she popped up (like out of a cake) and yelled “Happy Birthday!”

Over Labor Day weekend we went to Taste of Colorado and walked around.  Autumn and I made paper plate fish and got our faces painted.

While I was at school Autumn went with Mom and Dad to pick out the granite slabs for our new house.  See the hat Mom and Dad had to wear.

Saturday Dad had to pick his clubs up at the club, so we went along and played a few of the par 3 holes.

Last night Mom went to a sale and found a new toy for us.  It’s really only made for 1 person at a time, but we were playing together.  Well, I was playing and not really sharing with my sister.

Tonight we headed to Jamba Juice for dinner and then to the park to play. This is a cup that you sit in and spin around.  We like this ride!

Autumn figured out that if she stands up she can really make this rock back and forth!

This is a little slide compared to the big one we played on today after the Farmer’s Market, but it’s still fun.

Today Grandpa flew in to visit for a few days.  After we picked him up we headed out to Brighton to “Berry Patch Farm” to pick some strawberries.  I had a hard time remembering we were going to a farm and not the zoo.  As we were parking Grandma asked if we were ready to get some strawberries and Autumn said, “No Grandma, strawberries at the store.”

After we found out what to do, we got our baskets and loaded up on the wagon to get a ride out to the strawberry fields.

Here we go.  We had to hunt for the red strawberries because most of them were picked.  We still found lots, but they were small.  (but still yummy!)

Autumn, do you have your basket?

Where are your strawberries?  Hey, what’s dripping from your chin?

See I only have a few strawberries right now.  I need to get more!

Ryland, come over here and get some.

Ryland wanted to go over to the other row and find some!

We tried to take a picture of the 3 of us together, but Mom wouldn’t get out of the way.

Now look at my basket.  It’s almost full!

Since my basket is almost full you should put your strawberries in your mom’s basket Ryland.

Autumn, come pick this one!

We wandered over and picked a basket of blackberries too.  Then we waited for the tractor to come back and get us.

While Mom and Grandpa went inside to pay we waited on the rocking chairs on the porch.

I’m not sure what was going on in these set of pictures so I’m sharing them all for you to decide.  Here’s the story I’m making up.

“Hey Ryland, can you pull your lip down like this?”  “I dunno, let me try.”

“Hey, that was kinda fun!”

“If you put your finger on your lip and move it up and down it makes funny noises.”

“Huh? How are you doing that?”  “Watch silly, it’s like this.”

“Oh, I got it it.”  “Hey Ryland, someone is watching us.  We should chill out with the finger stuff!”

“Say cheese and look cute for the camera.  Maybe they’ll go away.”  “Wait, I almost have this lip music thing down.”

“Simon said to touch your nose not you lips!”

“Oh, this thing up here.  I get those mixed up all the time!” “Hey, I think there’s a booger on my finger.  Ewww!”

“Put it in you mouth, then they won’t try to wipe us clean.”  “Ok, but it’s kinda gross.”

Did you make up your own story?  After the farm we decided to head to a restaurant for lunch.  It sure was hard work picking all those strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries!  Can’t wait to eat them-YUMMY!!!

Today we went North to the Butterfly Pavilion.  There were all kinds of bugs and butterflies to look at.  We saw stick bugs, spiders, cockroaches, and bees.

This is outside before we went in.  Autumn didn’t want to take a picture so Daddy did it with me.

See the bug?  That’s ok, I had a hard time too.  It’s the black dot on the stick.

What’s in here?

Ewww, that man has a giant spider on his leg!

Come look at the bees Autumn

This place also had a few fish and jelly fish to look at.

Next we went to the special room where all the butterflies fly around.

Look over here Autumn.  Be careful, some of the butterflies are on the ground.

Loo at the one up there!

Daddy, lift up Autumn so she can see.

This one is very pretty.

Autumn, don’t touch!

Before we left the special place I got to watch a butterfly come out of it’s chrysalis.

Let’s go to the play area now!  Let’s be butterflies on the flowers.

It’s a caterpillar!

There was a rope”web” to climb in, but when Mom told Autumn to climb in like a spider she got scared.  I think she thought there was a real spider there.

Autumn, the butterfly!
