We are in California this week.  Yesterday we visited Mommy’s friend Mary Beth and got to play with her daughter.  Then we went to Diane’s house and had Diane’s special spaghetti.  It was soooo yummy!  After we played with Howard, got special dresses from Pony, and at yellow cake with chocolate frosting!  See our dresses-we were working hard to make them fly up when we spun around.

Before we had dinner we did some coloring with Pony.

Dresses!

This is the bridge we crossed to get to Happy Hollow.

Smiles from both of us!  We were waiting for Cyndie to get to the park.

Our first ride was the merry go round.  I rode with Cyndie on the giraffe.  Autumn rode the polar bear-she named him Grizzly.

Then we went down to the zoo area to see some animals.  Look at this funny guy!

After the animals we went to the ride area.  We went on a roller coaster!  It was my favorite ride, but Cyndie didn’t like it.  Then we rode the firetrucks.

Next came the ladybug ride.  We shared the same ladybug so I rode facing the front and Autumn went backwards!

Autumn’s favorite ride was the swings.

We also rode on Danny the Dragon.

The last area we saw was the petting area.  We got to pet, brush, and feed some goats.

After that we got to see the miniature horses.  We even got to feed them!

Ride em cowgirls!

After all that playing we stopped for some lunch, and then we had our last ride of the day.  The merry go round one more time.  This time we both rode zebras!

Before we left we got to choose a treat from the store.  Cyndie bought me a magnetic pony toy and Autumn chose a “magic”wand.  We slept with them last night!

BOWLING!!!

Tonight after dinner Mom and Dad took us to a bowling alley.  I had been bowling once before, but this was Autumn’s first time.  It was a long time ago so I didn’t really remember what bowling was.  When we got there we were really excited to try it. We’re headed to #10.

Wait for us!  Did you see all those balls on the shelf?

Daddy helped me carry the ball.  It was really heavy-8 whole pounds!

Mom says that helping a kid bowl definitely doesn’t accents your backside!

Here goes Autumn.

I got so excited when I knocked down some pins.

Waiting can be soooo boring!

Watching my ball roll and roll and roll!

Check out this form.

Mom and I bowling.

Here’s the machine where you wait for your ball to come back.

Autumn’s turn.

Mommy likes this one.  Autumn is watching her ball go!

By the end I could carry the ball all by myself.

Here’s our scores!

Mom tried to take one picture of us together.

Dad took us out to the club today for some golf practice.  We played the 9 hole par 3.  Someday we’ll be able to hit as far as Dad, but today we just practiced.

Look at Autumn’s form!  Nice job Autumn!

My turn!

Time to putt.

Autumn, hit your ball.  Don’t forget to get mine out of the hole too.

Can you see the flag over there?  That’s where I want it to land.

Daddy is helping Autumn a little.

See my hands?  That’s how you are supposed to hold it.

Nice big swing Autumn.  You are definitely like Daddy-put your tongue in your mouth!

On the green you need your putter.  By now, Autumn’s putter was her hands, feet, and club!

Ready, aim, hit!

Sometimes the best way to get your ball on the green is to pick it up and PUT it there.

Daddy, what are you doing down there in the sand?  The green is up here!

“I did  it Mommy!”

We have 2 clubs each.  Autumn added a 3rd to her “bag”.

Soooo close.

Look, we had some visitors while we were playing.

We’re done-walking up the last hole was tough.  We needed to help each other.

Let’s go to the clubhouse and get something to eat and drink!
